Ecoman Biotech, hosted a half day workshop for "Asia and Pacific Plant Protection Commission (APPPC)/ FAO members on IPM Case Studies for Sustainable Crop Production Intensification" as on 20th May, 2015.

 

During our half-day session we presented our successful demonstration cases of Fruit fly control in China, Ghana and Thailand controlling.

 

• Chinese Citrus Fly (Bactrocera minax)

• Oriental Fruit Fly (Bactrocera dorsalis)

• Melon Fly (Bactrocera cucurbitae)

• Pumpkin Fruit fly (Bactrocera tau)

 

in various crops like - Citrus fruits (Orange, Lime), Mango, Guava, Grapes, Roseapple, Longan, Melon family fruits, Carombola, Bittergourd and other gourd family crops etc.It was a great platform for exchange of information from the experts in the industry sharing their views on various Fruit fly control mechanisms in their respective countries.
